Magnesium alloy cleaning lines have always experienced phenomena such as high resistance, unsatisfactory salt spray performance, and uneven color. Our company observed and researched them on the spot, and analyzed one by one from the original material, die casting process, and cleaning process. After upgrading the formula and improving the process The above problems have been well resolved, as explained below:
I. Process flow before change
Degreasing → washing (2 courses) → etching → washing (2 courses) → bleaching washing (4 courses) → chemical conversion → washing (4 courses) → drying
Second, the changed process
Degreasing → Washing (2 passes) → Etching → Washing (2 passes) → Bleaching and washing (2 passes) → Formation → Washing (2 passes) → Closure → Washing (2 passes) → Drying
Special Note:
1. Conventional magnesium alloy film is loose and porous. Our company has added a sealing process to the original. Laifu uses high-molecular sealing technology, which can be filled on the chemical film to make the product surface color uniform, salt spray, resistance. And so the performance is greatly improved.
2. The mold release agent will remain on the surface of the magnesium alloy die-casting, which makes cleaning difficult. Through various tests and verifications, the etchant is compounded with a variety of organic acids and penetrants, which can quickly remove the release agent on the product surface.
3. There are 4 washings after bleaching in your company's previous process. If the washing time is too long, the product will occur before the film is coated.
